"Inner Glow"

Project type

Metallic micro-flake pigment and automotive paint on museum quality canvas and linen, woven reconstruction with hand made frayed canvas sprayed frill

Date

2025

Size

90 x 95 cm

This work is a woven reconstruction of two failed gradient paintings, one on linen and one on museum quality canvas. What once collapsed in their original form were cut apart and reassembled. Each strip carries the memory of rupture, tension, and persistence.

The surface holds a quiet radiance. The metallic micro-flake pigment does not shout. It glows from within, subtle and restrained. The frayed edges remain visible, refusing perfection and revealing the labour of reconstruction.

“Inner Glow” is shaped by the belief that light is not given, it is earned. Each woven fragment represents experience, challenge, and transformation. When bound together with intention, they form a structure strong enough to hold a lasting inner luminosity.
