“Already There, Just Waiting to Be Revealed”

The surface was flawed from the beginning. Irregularities, a wet layer of metallic micro-flake pigment sprayed in a non linear formation, and an unexpected stain disrupted its clarity. My first instinct was to discard it. Instead, I paused.

Influenced by my spiritual practice, I chose to look deeper. The interruption became a message rather than a mistake. I realized the painting was not finished. I continued to build the surface, layering more paint than usual, airbrushing cloud like formations that softened the rupture rather than hiding it.

The shine is more restrained here, the luminosity quieter. What began as damage revealed a delicate atmosphere, almost weightless. This work reminds me that transformation is often already present, waiting beneath imperfection to be seen and completed.
